WHAT IS TAEKWONDO

Taekwondo is an ancient Korean Martial Art form which originally evolved from the natural human instincts for self defense. Taekwondo is an art that incorporates Kinesthetic and Visual aspects along-side other forms of intelligence. Over thousands of years, it has developed positive elements that help the practitioner achieve perfection in the development of mind, body and spirit.

Taekwondo is a serious study about oneself, it is about Self Mastery.

“TAE” means kicking and smashing with the feet
“KWON” means punching, striking and blocking with hand
“DO” is the art of using the hands and feet in Self Defence
